An extended family session is perfect for multigenerational family gatherings, whether it’s a milestone birthday, a family reunion, or just the rare occasion when everyone is in town together. These sessions include multiple family households—grandparents, siblings, cousins, and all the in-betweens! Because of the larger group, these sessions require extra time and planning to ensure we capture all the different family dynamics. We’ll start with a big group shot, then break into smaller family units, grandparents with grandkids, sibling groups, cousin shots, and some candid moments in between.

Extended Family Portrait Sessions

Polina was the photographer for our wedding on September 8th and we could not have asked for a better photographer! She was very involved in the months before the wedding, spending the time to get to know us and what we envisioned for the big day. And on the big day, she captured the most beautiful and amazing photos of every important moment! We got our photos back after only 4 weeks and still can't get over how much we love them. The wedding was midday (so the lighting was harsh) but the photos came out soft and beautiful. She was also flexible with creating a package that worked for our budget and provided us access to all the photos (even the untouched ones), which we loved. She was such a calming presence throughout the day and was perfectly adaptable when our first few ideas fell through because of timing. We ended up taking a quick trip to a little meadow nearby and the photos came out amazing, better than we could have hoped! The sunset photos at the Lake were also so amazing, and Polina invested so much energy and dedication to get great shots. She was able to take some beautiful candid shots throughout the night without us really even noticing her, which helped us focus on the the mood of the wedding.
